PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
This three-day programme provides a profound understanding of how you are perceived as a leader in the context of your organisation.Through a dynamic mix of lectures, discussions, 360-degree multi-rater assessment feedback and self-assessment tools you learn concrete ways to improve your leadership abilities. At the conclusion of this programme, you will have an action plan for managing yourself and leading others to improved performance and are more effective at communicating direction and inspiration that aligns people and objectives."Obtaining self-awareness improves your judgment and allows you to focus on specific areas for improvement," says Prof. Patrick Gibbons, Programme Director. "In addition to reflecting on your own insights, gaining feedback from your co-workers, managers and direct reports allows you to see parts of your leadership style that you wouldn't see otherwise."
Day 1 - The Leader's Role with Prof. Patrick Gibbons (November 19th)
Day 1 will focus on identifying a set of practical, implementable leadership behaviours and activities that participants can deploy to enhance their effectiveness, impact and performance. In this session, specific attention will be directed at the leaders role in crafting objectives and in animating and motivating commitment to the achievement of objectives.Read more about the programme »

Day 2 - Leadership, Change and Learning with Dr. Seamas Kelly (November 20th)
Much of the popular management literature promotes a potentially dangerous and misleading conception of leadership and change. In this session, we critically examine some of these mainstream ideas, with a view to developing a more grounded and realistic perspective on the practice of leadership, its significance and its limits.  Specifically, the idea of leadership as a ‘craft’ will be introduced, emphasising the importance of experience, engagement, intuition and emotional awareness.Read more about the programme »
Day 3 - The Extraordinary Leader with Colm Murphy (November 21st)
This session will help each participant to understand the significant on-the-job performance differences between “good” and “extraordinary” leaders; learn about the 16 leadership competencies that differentiate extraordinary leaders; discover why enhancing existing leadership strengths are the most successful way to become an extraordinary leader; prepare to receive an individual 360 leadership feedback report, understand the report structure, interpret the data, and discuss how it can best be used in a positive way; perform a step-by-step analysis of their feedback report, using a structured process with individual and group exercises and use Zenger Folkman’s unique leadership cross training approach to construct a customised Individual Development Plan.Read more about the programme »
Hear what previous participants have to say about the course...
"A well structured, well delivered and engaging course for leaders in any organisation who are looking to drive results and promote change. Case examples, role plays and interactive learning all provide thought provoking insights into the organisational dynamic. I would have no hesitation in recommending this course as an investment in your leadership development."Ryan O'Reilly, Director @ High Potential International
"The programme provided me with a rich opportunity to enhance my emotional and leadership capabilities with respect to transforming my potential into organisational results. It helped me to explore and reflect upon my leadership skills. I also acquired actionable knowledge on how to tailor my leadership style to meet the needs of specific situations and the intervention of a 360 assessment was a major contributor to enhancing my impact and performance. Overall, I obtained a critical perspective on leadership in the context of the complexities and politics of organisational change."Dr. Philip McGovern, MBA Programme Director, National College of Ireland
