Trainer Profile Qualification & Relevant Experience
Máiréad has an Honours BBS, a Masters in Computing and a Diploma in Coaching, plus FETAC Level 6 Coaching Award,anAdvanced Career Coaching &a Foundation Diploma in Education & Training. Máiréad has worked in the multinational, public and private sector and has also run a training company for eight years. She has extensive business and training experience and this is brought to bear in her training style and attention to detail when designing and delivering courses. She has delivered certified courses in City & Guilds, ECDL and FETAC, as well as developing courses for use in-house in both her role in the multinational sector and as part of the National eProcurement project, which included training participants on how to use the Irish Government eTenders website. Over the past 15 years, she has also delivered courses for FAS and Kerry Education Service as well as with us in TrainingPoint.
Máiréad is herself a strong believer in the value of lifelong learning and the long term benefits of continuous development for employee involvement and advancement as a means of increasing employee effectiveness and productivity. She always puts the needs of her course participants first and develops her courses with their aims and objectives in mind. With a firm belief that the best training is interactive and client led, Máiréad strives to ensure that appropriate case studies are used, in order to promote better understanding and participation by course participants while also utilising role plays and group discussion and development as a means of ensuring that the many tenets of learning are used in her training courses.
