etc) who have a desire to attain an appreciation of the aircrafttype.

Multi-choice written examinations.
Certificate
In House Certificate.
Course Objectives
The learner shall be able to provide a simple description of the
whole subject, using common words and examples, using typical
terms, and identify safety precautions related to the airframe, its
systems and powerplant. Define the general layout of the aircraft
and powertplant major systems.
 
Key Course Content
3 days of instruction including an aircraft visit. Each system is
described from a component, an installation, and an operation
standpoint, Flight compartment instruments and panel
information have been included to assist in describing the
system operation. The principal characteristics and major
structural elements are tabulated and shown as required.
Instruction Method
Instructor led classroom presentation with aircraft visit.
Completion Standard
Per Atlantic Aviation Completion Standards.

This course will provide you with General Familirisation on the
B737-600/700/800/900 CFM56.
Is this Course Right for me?
Provides the attendee with an understanding of the B737
airframe and engine systems. It will assist the attendee in their
role in aviation by giving them the overview of this very popular
aircraft.

Tony Maher is a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance
Engineer, with Avionics and Airframe Type
Ratings on B737, B757, B767 & B777 aircraft.
With almost 25 years’ experience in the aircraft
maintenance industry including leading a team
of maintenance professionals, he is well placed
to understand the training needs of engineers,
airlines and MRO’s with emphasis on Avionics
topics. As a Technical Training Professional, Tony specialises in
developing and delivering Avionics elements of Aircraft Type Training
Courses. Developing and delivering bespoke training courses is another
of Tony’s strengths. Tony is a member of the AAG Dedicated Training
Team, whose purpose is to provide high quality training to the Aircraft
Maintenance Industry.

AIDAN DOOLEY


Aidan Dooley is a Licensed Aircraft
Maintenance Engineer, with Airframe and
Engine Type Ratings on B737, B757, B767 &
B777 aircraft. With 20 years’ experience in the
aircraft maintenance industry including leading
a team of maintenance professionals, he is well
placed to understand the training needs of
engineers, airlines and MRO’s with emphasis on
airframe and engine topics. As a Technical Training Professional, Aidan
specialises in developing and delivering Airframe and Engine elements
of Aircraft Type Training Courses. Developing and delivering bespoke
training courses is another of Aidan’s strengths. Aidan is a member of
the AAG Dedicated Training Team, whose purpose is to provide high
