Have you ever wondered why it seems so difficult to talk with some people and so easy to talk with others? Can you recall an occasion where you met someone for the first time and immediately liked that person? Something about the individual made you feel comfortable.
A major goal of this one-day workshop is to help you understand the impact your communication skills have on other people. You will also explore how improving these skills can make it easier for you to get along in the workplace, and in life.
The objectives of the day are to give participants a structure on communications that gives practical and measurable techniques for day-to-day business based communications.

A native of Drogheda, Michael is an experienced business consultant, broadcaster and stress management practitioner. He qualified with an Honours degree in Management and also has a Post Graduate Masters in Business Studies awarded by the Smurfit Business School at UCD.
As a trainer/coach Michaels main areas of focus are: Customer Relations, Presentation Skills, Media Skills, Communications, Time Management, Coaching and Performance Management, Train the Trainer and Leadership Development. Michaels work with leading Management Consultancy practices involve a mix of course delivery and client facing management consulting/coaching. Michael's experience has been gained as a management trainer over a twenty five year period in a variety of sectors including tourism, media, public sector and government work and information technology. Michaels specialties centre on influencing skills and rapport building and he uses these skills to develop teams and individuals either on a one to one basis or in-group training.
