An interactive one day course focusing on essential skills for negotiation within the workplace.
There will be reference to case studies, personal experience, published work and the real life working situation. Attendees are encouraged to be specific in their chosen examples of both good and bad experiences of negotiation. They are asked to pick a possible future opportunity for a negotiation experience and to use this as a practice model in the last section of the training module.
The attendees will complete a series of group and individual exercises. A follow- on reading list, course references and printed slide material will be available for take- home use.

|Deirdre Murrayhas worked in a variety of commercial and management roles within the Pharmaceutical industry during the last 27 years. She has held positions in Clinical Research, Training, General Management, Project and Operations Management and has worked in Ireland, the UK and Canada to date.She holds an MBA from the Smurfit Business School at UCD, and Diplomas in Executive Coaching and Public Relations. She is also a Registered Nurse and Midwife.Deirdre now works closely with a number of clients in both the commercial and not for profit sectors in training, business development, and process improvement. She has a passion for seeing individuals and organisations prosper and in assisting the effective combining of both the hard and soft skills sets.|
