In association with PharmaChemical Ireland the WIT Business School and Rikon are hosting a seminar entitled "Lean in Pharma: Perspectives on the Lean Journey" on January 13th, 2014.

This seminar will explore the case for, and the realities of, implementing lean practices in the PharmaChemical sector in Ireland.

Mr Matt Moran, Director of PharmaChemical Ireland, will outline the importance of Lean Thinking with regard to sustaining competitiveness in the Pharmaceutical sector at a national, and global, level.

Dr. Tom McCabe, CEO-in-Residence at the WIT School of Business, will draw from his extensive senior management experience in Pharmaceutical sector to discuss the challenges of leading Lean initiatives.

Representatives from industry exemplars, such as Genzyme and TEVA, will also deliver presentations at this event.

Speakers will explore themes such as leading lean initiatives, managing change and sustainability in lean practices and the strategic dimensions of lean.

The evening will conclude with a Plenary session that explores "Perspectives on the Lean Journey".
