Precision questioning and precision answering (PQ) is a discussion format that uses the power of sustained, precise questioning to deepen thinking in ways that are beyond the reach of debate and brainstorming. It also improves the efficiency of conversations that can make our meetings more effective. It is taught as a one-day workshop in which participants learn the core principles of PQ and how to apply these principles to their daily work. Because individuals trained in PQ are able to apply the concepts from the workshop the next day, benefits are immediate. The workshop is interactive throughout and makes extensive use of video.
PQ was developed by Vervago (www.vervago.com) and is based on 20 years of studies by Stanford University. More than 20,000 people in over 40 countries have taken the workshop. Twenty-one of the companies in NASDAQ's Top 100 (including Microsoft) have invested in the workshop to enhance their employees' decision making, problem solving and communication skills.
