Lake Region Medical is delighted to be the first of many MedTech companies in Ireland, who recognise the importance of best in class manufacturing operations in Ireland as part of our overall economic development strategy.
Noel Hennessy, Continuous Improvement Director at Lake Region Limited, added, Gaining the highly coveted Shingo Bronze Medallion status is acknowledgement of the hard work & commitment put in by all our employees since we first started out on our lean journey in June 2003 with the goal of making Lake Region Medical Limited a centre of excellence.
While it is undoubtedly a major milestone on our lean journey we believe this accreditation will spur us on to achieve true world class status. I would also like to acknowledge Dermot ONeill and the I.C.B.E. for their help in providing best practise visits & experts in the field of world class manufacturing to transfer their specialist knowledge.
