Information Requested: An ICBE member company would like to know what IT systems are being used (and the maturity of these systems) for Serialisation: Serialisation & Aggregation: and Serialisation, Aggregation & Genealogy by pharma companies in Ireland.
Objective: More markets are making serialisation a Regulatory Requirement in the Pharma sector. Serialisation is the printing and capture of a serialised number for all products shipped to customers. Aggregation is the collection and storage of the serialised numbers, while Genealogy refers to the ability to trace an individual product back to its manufacturing line, date, time, etc.

I’m not directly involved in this project myself but it is a big project for us at the moment (and any pharma company). Our project lead is in Japan working on this project this week as we have a Global team looking after this. I sent your email on and he’d be happy to discuss with any company when he’s back in Ireland next week. Please feel free to pass on my details if the member company would like to discuss further.

Grainne, can you have the person enquiring give me a call to discuss. We have been working on this for the past 2-3 yrs and have just successfully installed our 1st commercial TNT Line. I’d be happy to talk to this ICBE member about our experiences, provided that they are not a competitor!
