Course Overview:

This programme is designed for those who are keen to develop and consolidate their business and management skills through lectures, discussion and analysis of key management concepts across the broad spectrum of business in the aviation and transport. The programme aims to help students progress to a standard of understanding and analytical thinking that enables them to advance in their careers and to Masters Degree Level should they wish to do so.

This BBS Management programme will provide individuals with an in-depth understanding of the theories,concepts and methods relating to the field of aviation management and will provide students with the basis and grounding in theory and practical application to in time take on supervisory and management roles in the aviation sector.

Management of Aviation requires a combination of specialist skills such as:

• Human Factors in Aviation

• Team Resource and Crew Resource Management

• EU Aviation Policy

• Aviation Case Studies

• Incident Command & Risk Management in the Operational Environment

It also requires more traditional business skills including:  Management, Groups and Teams Dynamics,  Communications, Marketing,  Quality Management & Control.
