The Companies Act 2014 p provides that it is the duty of each director of a company to ensure that this Act is complied with by the company. Recent cases have highlighted the importance of directors understanding and complying with the duties of directors and that ignorance or inaction is not a defence. The Act has brought some much needed clarity to the duties and responsibilities of directors and this course will look at how a director can comply with the duties in a practical way
