L5 C D in Coaching Mentoring – Assignment Tasks – Understanding the skills principles and practice of effective mgt coaching mentoring

We need a group of 8 participants for this program to run

Please note you can register for the Certificate & upgrade to the Diploma during the program if you think 100 hours coaching practice is achievable

July 6th will be the last class date so the rest of the time is for assignments. People will then have an extra month (Certificate) /4 months (Diploma) to complete their assignments for the course.

People will only be working on 1 assignment in the summer and that’s the coaching assignment. If they are doing the cert then they will have it more or less completed by July & and if they are doing the Diploma they have until December to complete.

If people really need July/August off or extra time to complete their assignments we can discuss it with the class. The assignment dates are not set in stone, but we do need to set some deadline dates. We will take a note of where people are with their coaching and assignments by the end of June and if they afford to take two months off we can do that, if they are behind in where they should be we need to address this with the class. We will be giving them a schedule of where they should be at each month with their coaching as a guide only.

Supervision Hours = supervised hours will consist of in-class observation/supervision of coaching practice with classmates or volunteers rather than the tutor sitting in on a private coaching session as this is not always ideal. It also means the class can observe different techniques as well as the strengths and weaknesses of each other and how this can be improved on or how different techniques work for different people.
