Really practical learning without significant slides & material.The trainers worked really well together & trainee group also managed to create a safe space for learning and development without judgement.\nThe most useful part of the training for me was developing core skills in coaching. Learning how to listen at different levels and gaining confidence to hold a silent space to ensure the most powerful interaction possible.\n I found the training fantastic! I am in awe of how much progression every person in the group has made in such a short space of time.\n I feel I have grown hugely in confidence with putting my learning into practice due to the opportunities given during each session to practice the skills and core competencies of coaching.\nI feel going back to my workplace I will be able to identify opportunities for coaching and put my learning into practice where appropriate.\n\nProgramme Aims/Objectives \nThis programme is designed to help participants deepen their working knowledge and practice of coaching. Specific objectives include helping participants: \n\nDevelop more awareness of the coaching competencies as specified by the International Coach Federation\nFurther integrate the application of coaching models\, tools and competencies into your role\nIncrease your effectiveness as leaders\, managers and professionals within your organisations\n\nThe program will be run over four half days (each 4.5 hours long) \nThe style will be appropriate to adult learning needs with a mix of short briefings on relevant theory/models\, facilitated discussion\,  group engagement and opportunities to try out and practice your learning. \nWe have retained all of the main elements of the face-to-face course\, including lots of practical experience of coaching practice.  We have experience of delivering online training sessions\, and are struck by the quality and depth of training work that can now be done on line. \nThe programme will be run over four half-days. The style will be a mix of short briefings on relevant theory/models\, facilitated discussion\, group engagement and opportunities to try out and practice your learning. Feedback when provided will be affirming and constructive\, both from the facilitator and from your fellow learners. \nThere will be a requirement to do some “homework” prior to commencement and between the online workshop sessions. \n  \nThe content will include the following areas \n\nActive listening – Three areas of listening\nSetting it up for success\nQuestioning and providing feedback\nWhen is coaching appropriate\nDeveloping trust and rapport\nGoal setting and planning\nThe coaching process\nDefinition of coaching and how it differs from other approaches\nInternational Coach Federation’s Core Competencies\nResponsibility and Accountability\nCreating the most effective relationships for learning\, growth and independence\nChallenge and support\nCoaching practice\, practice\, practice\n\nThis programme will be delivered by Gerry Ryan MCC\, MICF and Kieran Murphy. \nGerry has a vast experience of in-depth coaching and different approaches to leadership development which has led him to attain the title of MCC (Master Credentialed Coach) accredited by the ICF (International Coach Federation) – the top level of award accredited by the ICF. \nKieran has over 20 years’ experience of senior leadership positions at both executive and Board level\, in Ireland and the UK.  The consistent themes across all these experiences is Kieran’s relentless curiosity & exploration about how to bring about positive change in large complex systems\, so that people\, communities & countries are transformed for the better.
