DESCRIPTION:Certificate in Continued Airworthiness Management Organisation Level 7\nStart Date: January 12th\, 2026 (10 weeks)\nFunded Cost  €1\,1125\nOverview\nThe programme aims to provide a career path within Continued Airworthiness Management Organisations technical departments\, Aircraft Leasing Companies and MRO’S (Maintenance Repair Organisations) to individuals with Aviation Degree or Diploma or Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and Technicians. On successful completion of this programme\, the student will be capable of completing a Transition CAMO project which includes Induction\, Management and Delivery \nWhat are the entry requirements?\nAn aircraft maintenance qualification\, aviation qualification at Level 6 or above or with relevant industry experience. \nENGLISH LANGUAGE: Applicants who do not have English as their first language must ensure they satisfy English Language requirements. For entry to undergraduate courses\, a minimum score of 5.5 in an IELTS exam is required. For postgraduate courses\, a minimum of 6.0 is required. DESCRIPTION:Diploma in Aviation Leasing and Finance – Law Society\n  \nStart Date: Thursday 29th January 2026 at 6:00 PM\nFunded cost: €2\,625  (full cost before funding €3\,500)\nContact maeve@icbe.ie for details of eligibility for funding.\n  \nProgramme objectives\nOn completion of this training programme\, participants will be able to: \n\nAnalyse the key legal issues pertaining to the sale and lease of aircraft;\nCritically evaluate the finance structures involved\, how to finance an aviation transaction\, and funding available;\nExplain the key regulatory issues pertaining to aviation;\nSummarise the legal issues relating to key aviation matters\, such as engines\, maintenance reserves\, security\, taxation\, insurance\, records\, and repossession;\nDraft and amend the key legal and financial documents and structures in aviation leasing and finance transactions;\nAdvise on a range of aviation issues that arise in practice – be it from a lender\, lessor\, lessee\, or airline.\n\nProgramme structure and approach to learning\nIreland is internationally recognised as the global hub for aviation leasing and finance\, with 14 of the top 15 global aircraft lessors enjoying a presence here. More than 60% of the world’s fleet of leased aircraft is owned\, leased\, or managed in Ireland. The major industry players have been attracted by Ireland’s stable political regime\, membership of the EU\, favourable time zone\, and talented workforce – not to mention our legal and regulatory advantages. In addition\, Ireland’s network of over 70 double tax treaties\, combined with the absence of withholding tax on aircraft lease rentals and a corporate tax rate of 12.5%\, makes Ireland a commercially attractive place to set up and run an aircraft leasing company. \nThis advanced-level diploma provides comprehensive coverage of the key aspects of the aviation leasing and finance industry.
