SUMMARY:Exploring the Impact of AI on Job Design and Your People
DESCRIPTION:ICBE Advanced Productivity Skillnet is delighted to support the following programme at the University of Limerick\n\nCourse overview \n\nThe MSc. in Machine Learning for Finance is a unique\, interdisciplinary programme. It blends applied\, practical financial theory with an advanced technical skillset derived from computer science. \nThe programme will be offered online-only\, and part-time over two years\, with an initial intake in September 2020. \n\nWhy have we introduced this course?\n\nThe MSc. in Machine Learning for Finance has been launched in response to the significant demand for upskilling and reskilling in financial services and in-company finance functions. In particular\, there is considerable industry demand for applied technical and quantitative skills combined with strong financial knowledge. \nA recent CFA Institute study found that 43% of its members and candidates expect their roles to change significantly in the next 5-10 years with the interaction of artificial intelligence (AI) and human intelligence (HI) becoming the norm. Similarly\, a study conducted by The Bank of England (BoE) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)  found that machine learning is increasingly being used across financial services. Key adopters included banks\, credit brokers\, e-money institutions\, financial market infrastructure firms\, investment managers\, insurers\, non-bank lenders and principal trading firms. \nIBM predicts that the most significant demand globally for Data Science and Analytics (DSA) jobs is in Finance and Insurance\, Professional Services\, and IT; together\, these three industries alone account for 59% of all DSA job demand. Ireland is home to many financial companies and most of the largest social media companies. This influx is likely to continue\, but key skills shortages may slow the economic benefits. \n  \n\nWhy we’re different?\n\nThe MSc in Machine Learning for Finance is the first\, fully online programme of its kind in Ireland. \nIt leverages the experience\, knowledge and expertise from the industry-led MSc in Artificial Intelligence. Coupled with the award-winning finance postgraduate offerings in the Kemmy Business School\, this programme provides a focussed upskilling initiative addressing widening AI skills shortage in the financial services industry. \n  \n\nProgramme summary in 10 words\n\nUnique\, flexible\, online programme integrating quantitative finance and applied AI. \n  \n\nFurther Information\n\nWebsite: https://www.ul.ie/gps/machine-learning-finance-msc \nYouTube: https://youtu.be/YTdfk9Ei50g \nPress Release: https://www.ul.ie/gps/news-centre/news/msc-machine-learning-finance-first-fully-online-programme-of-its-kind-ireland \n  \n\nCourse Contact information\n\nName: Dr Barry Sheehan \nRole: Course Director \nEmail: Barry.Sheehan@ul.ie \n  \n\nApplications / Funding :  \n\n  \nPlease apply directly to the University of Limerick and advise them that ICBE Advanced Productivity Skillnet is a sponsor. \n  \nThe contact person for the application process is : \n  \nKathy Ryan\, Programme Administrator\, kathy.ryan@ul.ie \n  \nFor information regarding funding only\, please contact : \n  \nAidan Kelly | Project & Network Manager \n  \nICBE Advanced Productivity Skillnet \nEmail : aidan@icbe.ie \nMobile: 087-2214213 \n  \n  \n

SUMMARY:EMBRAER 170 190 SERIES (GE CF34) GENERAL FAMILIARISATION COURSE

SUMMARY:Develop As A Leader People Choose to Follow - Free In-Person Event
