DESCRIPTION:Resilient Minds @ Work\nWednesday\, November 22nd\, 2023 \nStarting at 1pm\n45-minute webinar + 15 minutes Q&A \n\nAs a busy person you understand the demands of the real world. The increasing demands placed on us personally and professionally affect our health and our business. What makes some people focus and perform better under pressure while others struggle? The answer is Resilience. This does not mean being hard. He qualified as an Industrial Engineer in 1992 winning the AP O’Reilly award for his paper in Industrial psychology. He worked as the National Education officer for the I.I.E. for two years and in the area of business improvement in large manufacturing companies for almost twenty. His primary remit was on increasing efficiencies\, changing organisational architecture and involving people in the change process. He was a member of the global health and safety team with the toy manufacturer\, Hasbro. Having held management roles in multi-national businesses\, he earned his MBA in 2002. He then qualified as a trainer with the IITD in 2007. He has also lectured in Waterford Institute of Technology\, now SETU\, on their management degree program. Richard is a key note speaker every year at conferences in Ireland and the UK. His focus is on the role mental health plays in peoples personal lives and in organisations. He is a registered and insured clinical hypno-psychoanalyst and opened a private clinic in 2005. In his clinic he helps children and adults tackle a large range of disorders. He specializes in stress\, anxiety\, fear and trauma. As you can see\, Richard has an in-depth knowledge of organisations and people. His skill-set marries business issues with psychological understanding and improvement. This insight and his unique method of delivery is the reason this course delivers practical value and why people will never forget the things they learn on the day
