SUMMARY:Exploring the Impact of AI on Job Design and Your People
DESCRIPTION:JUNE 21st 2023\, UNIVERSITY OF LIMERICK 10am-2pm\nICBE is part of a European Research Consortium on a project called AI4Labour. \n‘Reshaping labour force participation with Artificial Intelligence – AI4LABOUR’ aims to identify industry tasks that will become obsolete with the introduction of AI and to predict the new task and skill requirements that will emerge. This project is a collaboration of Strategic Management\, Data Science\, Work and Employment\, and Economics researchers\, in partnership with key industry sectors and AI specialists across Europe. The project is currently seeking industry partners to identify specific roles for a task and skill analysis survey to determine their task/skill composition post-digitisation/automation. This will identify key changes in task/skill composition\, the emergence of new tasks within jobs\, skill gaps\, and skill redundancies. Knowing the composition of specific jobs into the future is a key input to workforce planning\, talent acquisition\, talent development and upskilling/reskilling interventions in organisations. \nAs part of this project ICBE\, with Kemmy Business School UL\, is extending an invitation to our seminar on AI and Industry on 21st June so you can learn more and consider partnering with us on this data gathering towards end of 23 and into 2024. \n
