Niamh Doherty, Continuous Improvement Manager at Steris Europe, based in Tullamore – received the ICBE 2019 National Business Excellence Award (a sculpture by Patrick Campbell) from the Irish Centre for Business Excellence at the April 4th ICBE Annual Conference – Pathway to Global Excellence. The award is given out annually for outstanding contribution to a key objective of the Centre – freely sharing knowledge and best practice among the members of the network.
Steris is an ICBE member since 2015 and Niamh is a wonderful advocate and champion of ICBE “where knowledge is shared and multiplied” through her engagement in knowledge-sharing, benchmarking and networking.
In appreciation of all her contributions including answering Calls For Support, hosting Best Practice Visits and being on the ICBE Advanced Productivity Skillnet Steering Group – Professor Eamonn Murphy, ICBE presented Niamh with the 2019 Networker of the Year award.
The ICBE is a not-for-profit cross sectoral business excellence/knowledge sharing network of organisations established in 1996. The centre provides a platform for companies to share knowledge and best practice across all business functions. Through participation in the core processes (calls for support, network forums, best practice visits, training, education & development, business conferences, advanced productivity), members are assisted in growing and transforming their organisations helping to ensure their long term success.
