Best Practice visit Integer (formally known as Lake Region).

On the 18th June 2018 a group of 16 people from five different organisations attended a site visit to Integer. Jim O’Neill who is the Continuous Improvement Manager for the site and several members of his team gave four hours of their time to the visit.

Through presentations, networking, site tours and one on ones the group was informed as to how Integer is continuing their lean journey and sustaining lean principles since becoming the first company in the Republic of Ireland and the first medical device manufacturer in Europe to be awarded a global standard in Operational Excellence – the prestigious Shingo Accreditation Bronze Medallion, first in 2012 and again in 2015.
