Skillnets Ireland Receive 29% Increase in Funding

Yesterdays budget had good news for the Skillnets Ireland network with a 29% increase in funding, demonstrating the Government’s continued recognition and support for the role Skillnet Ireland plays in the Irish economy.

This brings the annual funding to €28million along with a new ring-fenced funding line, the Human Capital Initiative, also signalled by the Minister.

Today’s announcements are a further indication of the Government’s commitment to effective enterprise-led upskilling and to giving industry a greater voice in how the National Training Fund is directed.
