Overview 

You will gain insights into aircraft structure, systems maintenance, and the regulatory environment, even if you have no technical background. Attending this course will enable you to better understand and support aviation functions directly related to your work, bridging knowledge gaps and boosting confidence in industry discussions. Hands-on sessions and an optional visit to an aircraft in maintenance bring these concepts to life, making complex aviation technology accessible and understandable.

  • Identify major commercial aircraft types
  • Understand the basics of how aircraft fly
  • Recognise aircraft construction and system elements.
  • Use key aircraft terminology confidently
  • Understand aircraft maintenance planning, certification, and airworthiness standards
  • Navigate the regulatory environment and understand essential industry terms and acronyms.

  • Delivery Method: In-person/Online sessions held at AAG's Shannon academy, with flexible scheduling options to fit your needs.
  • Duration: 2 days.
  • Day 2 Bonus: Optional visit to the AAG EASA Part 145 facility, where you can observe aircraft maintenance up close.
