Presenter:
Ron Mendes has led a hugely distinguished career and brings his experience to his role as Consultant to Management and Board of Directors with PTC. His experience spans across the Industrial, Commercial, and Public sectors, and includes roles in Senior Management with US multinationals Solar Turbines and Esmark Inc and Diageo Plc. He has also served as a Senior Regulator overseeing more than 1000 companies for a UK Government Agency, and Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee for the Chartered Institute of Housing.
His career encompasses Management roles in US Multinationals: Solar Turbines (Caterpillar Inc. company) Esmark Inc (Multinational diverse corporation) Senior Management: Diageo Plc (Spirits, Guinness, Burger King (sold), Food) Senior Management: George Wimpey Plc (Construction, M&E, Design, Quarries) Senior Regulator: UK Government Agency (overseeing more than 1000 companies) Chair of Audit & Risk Committee: Chartered Institute of Housing (Voluntary Role).
Ron holds a BSc. Physics Degree: University of Exeter England Fellow, is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, as well as the Institute of Risk Management & Audit & Risk Committee (2 x 3 year terms) , a Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors Training / Post Qualification: EY (Ernst & Young) & PwC (PriceWaterhouseCoopers).
