Located in Lough Egish Co Monaghan, this Tirlán UHT Cream processing site is on Shingo Challenge journey. In this visit and site tour, the Tirlán Lough Egish team will focus on core aspects of our Shingo journey, specifically our approach to strategy planning and deployment, continuous improvement and capability building, as well as our daily management approach:

 

 

  1. Strategy Deployment ( World Class Targets) – Turning Purpose into Daily Action
  • Development of a clear enterprise aligned Site Purpose
  • How our strategic priorities are translated into clear, actionable goals at all levels
  • Deployment Systems, Running Today, Develop Tomorrow, World Class Target
  • Challenges and lessons learned in driving ownership and accountability
  1. Developing Tomorrow (Strategically Aligned Project Portfolio Management) – Continuous Improvement & Capability Building
  • Embedding continuous improvement as a core way of working
  • How we build capability through structured problem solving and engagement
  • Creating ownership and involvement across teams to drive improvement
  • Evolution of our approach to ensure ongoing learning, adaptability, and sustainability
  1. Running Today(Safe and Reliable Operation Execution Every Day) – 3M Management 
  • Evolution of our Daily Management system and key milestones on our journey
  • How we drive and challenge the right behaviours through daily routines
  • Role of Leader Standard Work (LSW) in sustaining consistency and discipline
  • Use of visual management, accountability processes, and performance tracking
  • Integration of Shingo principles and recognition systems into daily operations

As a host site, the team are very conscious that they don’t have all the answers and would appreciate commentary and feedback from visiting companie.

Only one person per member organisation may attend but depending on demand, we may be able to accommodate further attendees.
