Richard Burke, Resilience Matters
Richard is a personal performance specialist and Ireland’s leading specialist in personal and work related stress.
His ability to design and deliver this work came from his unique background, education and experience.
He qualified as an Industrial Engineer in 1992 winning the AP O’Reilly award for his paper in Industrial psychology. He worked as the National Education officer for the I.I.E. for two years and in the area of operations management and business improvement in large manufacturing companies for 15 years. His primary remit was on increasing efficiencies, changing organisational architecture and involving people in the change process.
He is a registered and insured clinical hypno-psychoanalyst and opened a private clinic in 2005. In his clinic he helps children and adults tackle a large range of disorders. He specialises in stress, trauma, performance and conflict
Richard is a keynote speaker every year at conferences in Ireland and the UK. His focus is on the role mental health plays in people’s personal lives and in organisations.
Richard has an in-depth knowledge of organisations and people. His skill-set marries business issues with psychological understanding and improvement.
