ICBE Advanced Productivity Skillnet brings you this practical webinar with Noel Hennessey, co-author of the recently published book, HUMAN LEAN that he has written in collaboration with John Bicheno (Author of several books on lean, including the highly acclaimed The Lean Toolbox).  Noel will talk about people management concepts that are useful, perhaps essential, to everyone associated with a Lean Enterprise


The webinar will focus on the following:

  • The difference between getting the best rather than the most from your employees
  • The link between Employee Engagement and Continuous Improvement
  • The role of Leadership in driving sustainable improvement.

Noel Hennessy

Noel Hennessey is MD of Practical Lean Solutions. Noel’s first introduction to Lean was in 2003 as Production Manager with Lake Region Medical, New Ross, Ireland.

Noel’s passion for Lean led to promotion to OpEx Director and he later led the site to achieve Shingo Bronze Accreditation.

He attained an MSc in Lean Operations from Cardiff University in 2007 and his Doctorate from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2017.


The focus of Noel’s doctoral thesis explored the relationship between Employee Engagement and Continuous Improvement.
